PA1-25517 detects Eotaxin 2 from mouse samples.
PA1-25517 has been successfully used in inhibition assays, functional assays, neutralization and Western blot procedures. For neutralization, use at a concentration of 7-8 µg/mL to achieve half of the neutralizing dose (ND50) of a 100.0 ng/mL concentration.
The PA1-25517 immunogen is recombinant, full length mouse protein.
Eotaxin is a 74-amino acid, eosinophil-chemotactic CC chemokine originally found in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid from allergic inflammatory subjects. It is involved in regulating the recruitment and activation of inflammatory leukocytes, particularly eosinophils. Eotaxin binds and activates the CCR3 chemokine receptor, and may play a fundamental role in the development of allergic responses.
