PA1-20389 detects G Protein-Coupled Receptor GPR18 in human samples.
PA1-20389 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (paraffin) procedures.
The PA1-20389 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the 1st extracellular loop of human G Protein-Coupled Receptor GPR18.
Store at 4°C short term. For extended storage aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPCR GPR18 is a member of this family (subfamily orphan A) and it has been reported to be expressed at high levels in testis and spleen and at lower levels in other tissues associated with endocrine and immunologic/hematologic functions.
