PA1-20416 detects G Protein-Coupled Receptor GPR4 in human samples.
PA1-20416 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (paraffin) procedures.
The PA1-20416 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the 3rd extracellular loop of human G Protein-Coupled Receptor GPR4.
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPR4 is a member of this family (subfamily lysophospholipid/lysosphingolipid) and its expression has been reported in kidney, heart, and especially lung, where it is at least five-fold greater than in other tissues.
