GZMB/GZMH Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry analysis of GZMB/GZMH in NIH-3T3. Samples were treated with PFA, permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked in 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), and incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115323) at a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C). Secondary staining was applied with Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG using a dilution of 1:600.

GZMB/GZMH Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of GZMB/GZMH in human normal tissues adjacent to pancreatic cancer. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115323) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit.

GZMB/GZMH Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of GZMB/GZMH in various samples (Lane 1: Mouse brain lysates; Lane 2: Rat brain lysates; Lane 3: Rat brain lysates treated with blocking peptide ). Samples were incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115323).

Target Information

GZMB/GZMH are members of the granzyme subfamily of proteins, part of the peptidase S1 family of serine proteases. The encoded preproprotein is secreted by natural killer (NK) cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and proteolytically processed to generate the active protease, which induces target cell apoptosis. This protein also processes cytokines and degrades extracellular matrix proteins, and these roles are implicated in chronic inflammation and wound healing. Expression of this gene may be elevated in human patients with cardiac fibrosis. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2016]
