The MA1-7401 antibody reacts with lipoteichoic acid from many gram positive bacteria. Reactive with Listeria monocytogenes (all serotypes), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Enterococcus faecium, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, group B Streptococcus (weak). Non-reactive with Clostridium perfringens. Other species not tested.
MA1-7401 has been successfully used in ELISA and Immunofluorescence applications. Suggested but not tested for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.
