HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY HR (RC209010, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-HR. Positive lysates LY417487 (100 µg) and LC417487 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, we strongly recommend performing another round of desalting. (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7KMWCO, 0.5 mL, Product # 89882)
Target Information
Drosophila genes can be categorized based on the type of protein for which they encode and are represented by six major classifications, which include intracellular signaling proteins, transmembrane proteins, RNA binding proteins, secreted factors, transcription regulators (basic helix-loop-helix, homeodomain containing, zinc finger containing and chromatin associated) or other functional proteins. Among these numerous proteins, Hairless (CG5460, CT36411, CT17282) is a transcriptional co-repressor that contains a "Paired box" domain, a KX-repeat domain, a NEDL-repeat domain and a serine-rich domain. Hairless is an antagonist of the Notch signaling pathway in Drosophila.
