MA1-34860 detects HSPG2 from porcine, mouse, and human samples.
MA1-34860 has been successfully used in immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue) applications. Tonsil is suggested as a positive control.
The MA1-34860 immunogen is mouse EHS Laminin.
Perlecan is a major Heparan-Sulfate Proteoglycan (HSPG) found within all basement membranes and cell surfaces. Because of its strategic location and ability to store and protect growth factors, perlecan has been strongly implicated in the control of tumor cell growth and metastatic behavior. This antibody does not cross-react with laminin, fibronectin, or dermatran sulfate proteoglycan.
