PA5-16626 targets Heregulin in IHC and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and mouse samples.
The PA5-16626 immunogen is a highly antigenic synthetic peptide from the EGF-like domain of human heregulin.
Heregulin (HRG) or neu differentiation factor (NDF) binds to c-erbB-3 and c-erbB-4 receptors on mammary and neuronal cells with low and high affinities, respectively. HRG/NDF exists in several isoforms, which are classified in two groups, alpha and beta that differ in their EGF-like domain and in receptor binding affinity.
