MM121B targets IL-12 in ELISA, and WB applications and shows reactivity with mouse samples.
The MM121B immunogen is recombinant mouse IL-12.
MM121B detects IL-12 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 22 kDa.
The MM121B mouse IL12 antibody (biotinylated conjugate of clone C17-8) has successfully been paired as the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA with capture antibody MM120 (clone 9A5). Typical dilutions for sandwich ELISA include 1 µg/mL for coating and 0.125 - 0.25 µg/mL for detection.
Biotinylated antibody MM121B (clone C17-8) and antibody MM120 (clone 9A5) have successfully been used in combination with recombinant mouse IL12p70 protein SMIL12 in ELISA applications.
This antibody is produced by injecting Rat IgG secreting hybridoma cells into the peritoneum of mice. The resulting ascites is collected from the mice and the antibody is purified.
Target Information
IL-12 p70, also known as interleukin-12, is a cytokine that plays a critical role in the immune system's response to infections and cancer. It is produced by immune cells, including dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells, in response to certain pathogens and tumor cells. IL-12 p70 stimulates the production of interferon-gamma and other cytokines, which promote the activation and proliferation of T cells and natural killer cells. IL-12 p70 has been studied as a potential therapeutic target for various diseases and conditions, including infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. It has been shown to enhance immune responses against certain infections and tumors, and to modulate inflammatory responses in autoimmune diseases.
