Western blot analysis of IL22 using A) 30 µg 293T whole cell lysate and B) 30 µg whole cell lysate of GFP-human IL22-transfected 293T cells. Samples were loaded onto a 12% SDS-PAGE gel and probed with an IL22 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-34944) at a dilution of 1:5000.

IL22 is a cytokine structurally related to IL10 and was originally identified in the mouse as a gene induced by IL9 in T cells and mast cells. IL22 is upregulated in activated T cells.
