MA1-33770 detects CD11a from rat samples.
MA1-33770 has been successfully used in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue), immunoprecipitation applications. For FACs use 10µl of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 µl.
The MA1-33770 immunogen is: Splenic PHA blasts
Reacts with the rat LFA-1 a chain (160-170kD) which is associated with the b chain (CD18; 95-100 kD). LFA-1 is one of the leucocyte integrins (b2 integrin) which plays an important role in leucocyte physiology. Functionally, this monoclonal inhibits homotypic aggregation of PHA blasts. It also blocks binding of rat lymphocytes to purified rat ICAM-1.
