CD11b, also known as the alpha M integrin chain or MAC-1, is a differentiation antigen expressed by granulocytes, monocytes, NK cells and tissue macrophages. The expression of CD11b increases during monocyte maturation and expression levels vary on tissue macrophages. Peritoneal macrophages are reported to express higher levels of CD11b than splenic macrophages.

M27 expressed by cytomegalovirus counteracts effective type I interferon induction of myeloid cells but not of plasmacytoid dendritic cells.
MA1-80485 was used in flow cytometry to test if professional antigen-presenting cell subsets and MCMV-encoded evasins alter IFN-I responses

Expression of prolactin receptors in murine lymphoid cells in normal and autoimmune situations.
MA1-80485 was used in flow cytometry to investigate the expression of prolactin receptor in lymphocyte subsets

Enhanced resistance against Listeria monocytogenes achieved by pretreatment with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor.
MA1-80485 was used in flow cytometry to study the roles of G-CSF and polymorphonuclear leukocytes in Listeria monocytogenes-infected mice.

TNF regulates chemokine induction essential for cell recruitment, granuloma formation, and clearance of mycobacterial infection.
MA1-80485 was used in flow cytometry to assess the role of TNF in the formation and maintenance of granulomas.
