LDLRAP1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of LDLRAP1 in COS7 cells. Cells were transfected with a plasmid overexpressing LDLRAP1 and probed with a LDLRAP1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-25757).

LDLRAP1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded carcinoma of human liver tissue. To expose target proteins, 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min was used. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a LDLRAP1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-25757).

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytosolic protein which contains a phosphotyrosine binding (PTD) domain. The PTD domain has been found to interact with the cytoplasmic tail of the LDL receptor. Mutations in this gene lead to LDL receptor malfunction and cause the disorder autosomal recessive hypercholesterolaemia.
