MA5-15431 targets MLH1 in IF, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and Non-human primate samples.
The MA5-15431 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of MLH1 (aa381-483) expressed in E. Coli.
MA5-15431 detects MLH1 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 85kDa.
This gene was identified as a locus frequently mutated in hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer found in HNPCC. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. Additional transcript variants have been described, but their full-length natures have not been determined.
