MTMR14 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Anti-MTMR14 mouse monoclonal antibody (TA501712) immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY MTMR14(RC207732).

MTMR14 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY MTMR14 (RC207732, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-MTMR1. Positive lysates LY421457 (100 µg) and LC421457 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

MTMR14 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — HEK293T cells transfected with either RC207732 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-MTMR14 antibody (TA501712), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

Target Information

This gene encodes a myotubularin-related protein. The encoded protein is a phosphoinositide phosphatase that specifically dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositol 3,5-biphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate. Mutations in this gene are correlated with autosomal dominant centronuclear myopathy. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 18.
