MYD88 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY MYD88 (RC202253, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-MYD88. Positive lysates LY432175 (100 µg) and LC432175 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

MYD88 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — HEK293T cells transfected with either RC202253 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-MYD88 antibody (TA502116), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, we strongly recommend performing another round of desalting. (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7KMWCO, 0.5 mL, Product # 89882)

Target Information

Myeloid differentiation Marker 88 (MyD88) is an adaptor molecule for the Toll/IL-1R and is involved in the inflammatory response induced by IL-1, IL-18 and LPS. MyD88 recruits IRAK to IL-1 receptor complex in response to IL-1. This pathway further leads to activation of NF-kB. MyD88 has a wide tissue distribution.
