MA1-5832 detects Mad2L1 in human samples.
MA1-5832 has been successfully used in Western blot, immunoprecipitation and immunohistochemistry-paraffin procedures. Detects a band of approximately 25 kDa.
The MA1-5832 immunogen is recombinant human Mad2L1.
Store at 4°C for up to 1 month. For extended storage aliquot and store at -20°C or below.
mad2 is required for the execution of the mitotic checkpoint which monitors the process of kinetochore-spindle attachment and delays the onset of anaphase when this process is not complete. It inhibits the activity of the anaphase promoting complex by sequestering cdc20 until all chromosomes are aligned at the metaphase plate.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
