PA1-27516 detects GC from human samples.
PA1-27516 may be successfully used in ELISA and Western blot applications. By Western blot, this antibody has only been tested on plasma protein.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to human Vitamin D-binding protein.
GC (vitamin D-binding protein) is involved in vitamin D transport/storage, scavenging of extracellular G-actin, enhancement of the chemotactic activity of C5 alpha for neutrophils in inflammation and macrophage activation.
