The MA5-12371 immunogen is recombinant protein corresponding to full length human protein gene product 9.5 molecule.
Protein gene product 9.5 is a ubiquitin C-terminal hydroxylase found in neurons and nerve fibres of central and peripheral nervous system; many neuroendocrinal cells, segments of renal tubules, spermatogonia, leydig cells of testis; and ova. It is present in cellular inclusions and can be a useful as a neuronal marker and in the studies of neurodegenerative disorders.
