PA1-28083 detects PKG from human, rat, bovine, and mouse samples.
PA1-28083 has been successfully used in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot applications.A suggested positive control is HeLa cell lysate
The PA1-28083 immunogen is a 14-residue synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 4-17 of human PKG 1 beta. Tryptophan was substituted for tyrosine at position 9. A terminal cysteine was added and the peptide conjugated to KLH.
Store at 4°C short term. For long term storage, store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.

Stainless steel ions stimulate increased thrombospondin-1-dependent TGF-beta activation by vascular smooth muscle cells: implications for in-stent restenosis.
PA1-28083 was used in western blot to investigate the effect of stainless steel ions on the activity of vascular smooth muscle cells
