This antibody reacts with an antigen present in cutaneous melanocytes, prenatal and infantile retinal pigment epithelium and melanoma cells. This antibody reacts with melanomas and tumors showing melanoma/melanocytic differentiation. It reacts with junctional and blue nevus cells. Non-melanocytic cells do not react with this antibody.
