PRKCE Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY PRKCE (RC217702, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-PRKCE. Positive lysates LY401658 (100 µg) and LC401658 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

PRKCE Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — HEK293T cells transfected with either RC217702 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-PRKCE antibody (TA502415), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

Protein kinase C (PKC) is a family of serine- and threonine-specific protein kinases that can be activated by calcium and second messenger diacylglycerol. PKC family members phosphorylate a wide variety of protein targets and are known to be involved in diverse cellular signaling pathways. PKC family members also serve as major receptors for phorbol esters, a class of tumor promoters. Each member of the PKC family has a specific expression profile and is believed to play a distinct role in cells.
