Phospho-Annexin A1 (Tyr21) Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical analysis of Phospho-Annexin A1 (Tyr21) in Human kidney tissue using a Phospho-Annexin A1 (Tyr21) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-118676). The tissue was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The tissue was then blocked and incubated with the antibody for 1.5 hours at 22°C. An HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit antibody was used as the secondary antibody.

Phospho-Annexin A1 (Tyr21) Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of Phospho-Annexin A1 (Tyr21) in Jurkat cells using a Phospho-Annexin A1 (Tyr21) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-118676). The -/+ symbols identify the absence or presence of N peptide (non-phospho peptide) and P peptide(phospho peptide).

Target Information

Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca (2+) -dependent phospholipid binding proteins that are preferentially located on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. Annexin I has a molecular mass of 40 kDa, with phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. Since phospholipase A2 is required for the biosynthesis of the potent mediators of inflammation, prostaglandins and leukotrienes, annexin I may have potential anti-inflammatory activity.
