PA1-4251 detects phosphorylated Kidins220 in human samples. This antibody recognizes the phosphoserine at position 918.
PA1-4251 has been successfully used in the Western blot procedure.
PA1-4251 immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 907-923 of the human 220 kDa Kidins220 protein.
A novel protein kinase D-interacting substrate of 220 kDa (Kidins220) is the first identified Protein kinase D (PKD), a serine/threonine kinase. Kidins220 is an integral membrane protein that is expressed in brain and neuroendocrine cells. Kidins220 is phsphorylated by PKD at serine 918 in vivo.
