PA5-28669 targets Phosphoglycerate kinase 2 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-28669 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 162 and 417 of Human Phosphoglycerate kinase 2.
The PGK2 gene encodes a testis-specific form of phosphoglycerate kinase (EC 184.108.40.206), which catalyzes the reversible conversion of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate during glycolysis, generating one molecule of ATP. See also PGK1 (MIM 311800), which is ubiquitously expressed in all somatic tissues and maps to chromosome Xq13.
