RAB3A Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded human endometrium tissue within the normal limits using anti-RAB3A mouse monoclonal antibody. (Heat-induced epitope retrieval by 1mM EDTA in 10mM Tris buffer (pH8.5) at 120°C for 3 min, TA809483)(1:150).

RAB3A Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY RAB3A (RC203973, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-RAB3A. Positive lysates LY419059 (100 µg) and LC419059 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, we strongly recommend performing another round of desalting. (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7KMWCO, 0.5 mL, Product # 89882)

Target Information

Rab proteins belong to the Ras small GTPase superfamily. The GTP-binding Rab3 subfamily has 4 known isoforms: 3A, 3B, 3C, and 3D. These proteins are expressed in highest concentrations in brain and endocrine tissues and involved in regulated exocytosis of hormones and neurotransmitters. Specifically, Rab 3s are thought to play a key role in presynaptic vesicle trafficking and priming.
