Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generating a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Rex1 (zinc finger protein 42 homolog (ZFP42)) is a member of a class of DNA binding proteins which act as transcriptional regulators of other genes. Specifically, Rex1 is involved in the reprogramming of X-chromosome inactivation during the acquisition of pluripotency. It is required for efficient elongation of TSIX – a non-coding RNA antisense to XIST. Rex1 binds the DXPas34 enhancer within the TSIX promoter. It is also involved in ES cell self-renewal. Rex1 is expressed in healthy kidney, epidermal keratinocytes, prostate epithelial cells, bronchial/small airway lung epithelial cells, and embryonic stem cells. It is also expressed in malignant kidney and several carcinoma cells lines.
