SEC14L1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded human endometrium tissue within the normal limits using anti-SEC14L1 mouse monoclonal antibody. (Heat-induced epitope retrieval by 1mM EDTA in 10mM Tris buffer (pH8.5) at 120°C for 3 min, TA808987)(1:150).

SEC14L1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY SEC14L1 (RC211801, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-SEC1. Positive lysates LY418958 (100 µg) and LC418958 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Target Information

SEC14L1 may play a role in innate immunity by inhibiting the antiviral RIG-I signaling pathway. In this pathway, functions as a negative regulator of DDX58/RIG-I, the cytoplasmic sensor of viral nucleic acids. Prevents the interaction of DDX58 with MAVS/IPS1, an important step in signal propagation. May also regulate the SLC18A3 and SLC5A7 cholinergic transporters.
