SLC16A11 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of SLC16A11 in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and SLC16A11 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103924) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

SLC16A11 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded SLC16A11 in mouse liver tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with SLC16A11 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103924) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

SLC16A11 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of SLC16A11 in hybridoma cell lysate (Lane 1: treated with blocking peptide). Samples were incubated with SLC16A11 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103924).

Target Information

Proton-linked monocarboxylate transporter. It catalyzes the transport of pyruvate across the plasma membrane (PubMed:28666119). Probably involved in hepatic lipid metabolism: overexpression results in an increase of triacylglycerol(TAG) levels, small increases in intracellular diacylglycerols and decreases in lysophosphatidylcholine, cholesterol ester and sphingomyelin lipids (PubMed:24390345).
