SPR Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of SPR in COS7 cells. Cells were transfected with a plasmid overexpressing SPR and probed with a SPR monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-25309).

SPR Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of SPR in HeLa wild-type and knockout cells using 10 µg per lane. Samples were separated by SDS-PAGE and probed with SPR (Product # MA5-25309) monoclonal antibody and HSP90AB1 antibody with a dilution of 1:500 as a loading control.

Target Information

SPR encodes an aldo-keto reductase that catalyzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of pteridine derivatives and is important in the biosynthesis of tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4). Mutations in this gene result in DOPA-responsive dystonia due to sepiaterin reductase deficiency. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 1.
