MA1-21669 detects Triiodothyronine hormone from most mammals. This antibody detects T3-BSA and free triiodothyronine in ELISA. The cross-reactivity with thyroxine is <0.1%.
T3 is a hormone made by the thyroid gland. It has three iodine molecules attached to its molecular structure. It is the most powerful thyroid hormone, and affects almost every process in the body, including body temperature, growth, and heart rate.
