Secondary detection was performed using a Peroxidase rabbit secondary antibody at 1:40,000 for 30 min at room temperature and blocked for 30 min at room temperature. Predicted/Observed size: 76-81 kDa. 76 kDa for Transferrin. Other band(s): Transferrin slice varients and isoforms.

The function of transferrin is to transport iron from the intestine, reticuloendothelial system, and liver parenchymal cells to all proliferating cells in the body.
