WNT8A Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of WNT8A in 3T3 cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and WNT8A polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103481) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

WNT8A Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded WNT8A in mouse kidney tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with WNT8A polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103481) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

WNT8A Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of WNT8A in HeLa cell lysate (left lane: treated with blocking peptide). Samples were incubated with WNT8A polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103481).

Target Information

WNT8A, part of the WNT gene family, consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. Study of its expression in the teratocarcinoma cell line NT2 suggests that it may be implicated in the early process of neuronal differentiation of NT2 cells induced by retinoic acid. This gene is clustered with WNT3, another family member, in the chromosome 17q21 region.
