Yellow fever virus is the pathogenic agent of the mosquito-borne Yellow fever disease. A member of the Flavivirus family, yellow fever virus is enveloped and contains an RNA genome. The virus causes disease by replicating in lymph nodes and infecting dendritic cells and hepatocytes.
