PA1-27276 detects hCG alpha from human samples. PA1-27276 reacts with alpha chains on human Thyroid Stimulating Horomone (TSH), human Chronic Gonadotropin (hCG), human Luteinhizing Horomone (LH), and human Follicle Stimulating Horomone (FSH).
PA1-27276 has been successfully used in ELISA, and other immunoassay procedures.
The PA1-27276 immunogen is alpha chain of human chorionic gonadotropin.
The four human glycoprotein horomones chronic gonadotropin (CG), luteinizing horomone (LH), follicle stimulating horomone (FSH), and thyroid stimulating horomone (TSH) are dimers consisting of alpha and beta subunits that are associated noncovalently. The alpha subunits of these horomones are identical, however, their beta chains are unique and confer biological specificity. The protein encoded by this gene is the alpha subunit and belongs to the glycoprotein horomones alpha chain family.
