Technical note: Separation of influenza virus with our S50-A fixed angle rotor and a Sorvall micro-ultracentrifuge

In this technical note, we describe a protocol for the separation of influenza virus using the S50-A fixed angle rotor and the Sorvall MTX 150 Micro-Ultracentrifuge or the Sorvall MX Micro-Ultracentrifuge. The Thermo Scientific S50-A fixed angle rotor provides the largest capacity in the Thermo Scientific micro-ultracentrifuge family and allows sample processing up to 180 mL.
