Detection of phosphorylated and total EGFR in A549 cells
A549 cells were incubated with EGF for 2 minutes to induce phosphorylation of EGFR on cell membrane surfaces. Phosphorylated EGFR (red) was labeled with rabbit anti-pEGFR (Y1068) and detected using the Alexa Fluor 594 Tyramide SuperBoost Kit with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Cat. No. B40925). Total EGFR (green) was labeled with anti-EGFR antibody and detected with Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody. Nuclei (blue) were labeled with NucBlue™ Fixed Cell ReadyProbes™ Reagent (Cat. No. R37606) and cells mounted with Prolong™ Diamond mountant (Cat. No. P36961). Images were takes using a confocal microscope.
