Neurotransmitter-induced changes in intracellular calcium levels showed normal neuronal properties.

Life Technologies’ Primary Mouse Cortical Neurons (Cat. No. A15585) were cultured on to poly-D-lysine coated plates for 7 days in Neurobasal® media supplemented with 2% B-27® (Cat. No 17504) and 0.5 mM GLUTAMAX™-I (Cat. No.  35050).The left column represents the cells before addition, the right column after addition of saturating concentrations of neurotransmitters. The graphs indicate the change in fluorescence from Fluo-4 plotted against time for the cell circled in red for each row.
