Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biorxiv.org\/content\/10.1101\/2023.04.27.538542v1.full.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new manuscript in Biorxiv<\/a>\u00a0in collaboration with Dr. Mechtler\u2019s group demonstrates a high throughput,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.analyteguru.com\/t5\/Blog\/LC-Separation-in-Proteomics-Why-You-Can-t-Afford-to-Ignore-It\/ba-p\/20196\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">proteome coverage<\/a>, and quantitative precision in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/us\/en\/home\/industrial\/mass-spectrometry\/proteomics-mass-spectrometry\/single-cell-proteomics.html\">single-cell\u00a0proteomics<\/a>\u00a0using our low-flow tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The major takeaway points from our groundbreaking work are<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Higher LC-MS sensitivity was achieved by employing a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/order\/catalog\/product\/VN-S10-A-01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">low nano-flow rate<\/a>&nbsp;(100 nL\/min) and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/order\/catalog\/product\/164946?SID=srch-srp-164946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">narrow I.D. column<\/a>s&nbsp;(50 \u00b5m)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High sample throughput (100 samples\/day) is possible by using a trap-and-elute workflow and optimized methods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 10-min elution window provides&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/order\/catalog\/product\/BRE725539\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high MS utilization<\/a>&nbsp;(~70 percent) without sacrificing data quality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reproducible inter-lab performance was observed in single-cell and standard diluted samples<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State-of-the-art separation technology enabled the identification of &nbsp;&gt;2,200 and &gt;1,700 protein groups from 250 pg diluted standard and single-cell samples, respectively, using&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/us\/en\/home\/industrial\/mass-spectrometry\/liquid-chromatography-mass-spectrometry-lc-ms\/lc-ms-systems\/orbitrap-lc-ms\/orbitrap-exploris-mass-spectrometers\/velocity-data-independent-acquisition-platform.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">library-free DIA searches<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/analyteguru\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2023\/06\/Single-Cell-4-5.jpg\" alt=\"Successful proteomics researchers\" class=\"wp-image-14098\" style=\"width:400px;height:267px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/analyteguru\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2023\/06\/Single-Cell-4-5.jpg 800w, https:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/analyteguru\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2023\/06\/Single-Cell-4-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/analyteguru\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2023\/06\/Single-Cell-4-5-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/analyteguru\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2023\/06\/Single-Cell-4-5-96x65.jpg 96w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To our knowledge, this study represents the most comprehensive proteome coverage in the SCP workflow space to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teamwork truly makes the dreamwork!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P.S.
