\"091222<\/span>Earlier this year, we celebrated 26 years of the Thermo Scientific\u2122\u00a0Chromeleon\u2122 Chromatography Data System<\/a> (CDS). Charlie had a blast; celebrating 26 years of connecting people, instruments and data.\u00a0As part of the celebrations, we reached out to our loyal customers, to hear what they had to say about Chromeleon. A HUGE thank you to everyone in the US who took part. We loved reading all your submissions, so we have hand-picked a few of our favorites to share with you.<\/p>\n

Ease of use<\/h3>\n

Chromeleon software’s user-focused design allows our lab to have anyone \u0080\u0094 from a Ph.D. research fellow to an intern \u0080\u0094 on instruments ranging from a GC-FID to a UHPLC triple-quad mass spectrometer. Chromeleon software lowers the barrier of entry to train new staff, allowing us more flexibility and less training time.<\/p>\n

Connect your laboratory<\/h3>\n

I have used three different software solutions, and Chromeleon is by far the best of the 3! It is very user friendly: We run about 30 instruments on it from our laboratory, as well as remotely. We have virtual analysts in other countries that can access and control our instruments, too. This comes in very handy when the occasional blizzard hits our area.<\/p>\n

Proven productivity gains<\/h3>\n

As a method development scientist, my day-to-day tasks are directly affected by Chromeleon software. Chromeleon allows me to successfully design and perform analytical procedures, control multiple instruments simultaneously from one central computer, and monitor data in real time to facilitate study design. Time is everything in method development, and Chromeleon saves me time and allows studies to progress more smoothly and efficiently than they would without the software.<\/p>\n

Reporting features<\/h3>\n

Love the electronic reporting. Before knowing this feature, I copied and pasted data into Excel\u0084\u00a2. But now, I can build my own report template\/designer on Chromeleon (Excel friendly) and export the report into an Excel or PDF file. Very useful!<\/p>\n

Our lab utilized the Chromeleon data processing software for Chemical Characterization related to Medical Devices (ISO 10993:18) for both GC-MS (ISQLT) and LC-MS (Orbi) data.The software, having superior integration capabilities and reporting capabilities (components table, custom variables, and equations, etc.), has saved us many hours and many transcription errors, thus improving our final product for our customers.<\/p>\n
