Many would credit this talk as the genesis of the modern field of nanotechnology.<\/p>\n<p>In the last 60 years, extraordinary progress has been made in the field of electron microscopy, one of the primary tools of nanoscience. Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), in particular, has been widely recognized as a game-changer for structural biology. In fact, the technique won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Our new blog, Accelerating Microscopy, will feature content focusing on a variety of topics as they relate to this technology and how researchers around the globe are using our electron microscopes to advance science.
