What’s cooking at ACMG 2016?

Florida seems to be a popular conference destination this year.

Tampa, FloridaOrlando hosted the annual Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) General Meeting in mid-February and Fort Lauderdale just recently accommodated the International Symposium of the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF).

With its sunny weather and warm bay waters, we are certainly glad to be heading back to Tampa, Florida to attend the ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting, being held from March 9th to the 11th.

So what do we have in store for you this year?

Ion S5 sequencer visits the ACMG meeting for the first time

Since its launch in September 2015, researchers around the world have been adopting the Ion Chef and Ion S5 systems to simplify their next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows.

Come visit booth #806 to get a live demo of the Ion S5™ sequencer and also explore the automated library preparation capability of the Ion Chef™ system.

Can’t make it to Tampa next week? No worries. Contact one of our reps for more information about the Ion S5 systems or check out this demo video for a quick preview of how you can setup a sequencing run in less than 15 minutes.

A family of genetic analysis solutions for your lab

Our booth will also feature the QuantStudio™ 12K Flex system – an all-in-one real-time PCR instrument which can can produce up to 110,000 data points or more in an eight-hour day.

If you are interested in a regulatory compliant solution for your lab, stop by and have a chat with our specialists who can give you a demo of the Ion PGM™ Dx system*.

Our team will be on-hand to answer any questions related to our full suite of genetic analysis solutions; be it next-generation sequencing, real-time PCR or Sanger sequencing.

*The Ion PGM Dx system is for In Vitro Diagnostic Use. Available in the US and selected countries globally. All other products are for Research Use Only, and not for use in diagnostic procedures.
