aluminium infographicWhat is the most abundant metal in the earth’s crust, and was discovered by Hans Christian Orsted in 1825?

According to one of our blog readers, Byron from Gutter Masters, it’s Aluminium (also known as Aluminum).  Thank you to Byron who submitted this very informative infographic about Aluminium.  (Note: The consumption statistics are based on North American figures.  Globally, transport is less than 25% of the aluminum consumption, whereas in the United States it is much higher.)

Another fun fact: aluminum is 100% recyclable and the growing aluminum recycling trend is changing the aluminum industry.
