30px\"><em>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thermoscientific.com\/en\/product\/niton-xl2-goldd-xrf-analyzer.html\" target=\"_blank\">handheld x-ray fluorescent (XRF) analyzer<\/a> can reliably identify <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thermoscientific.com\/content\/dam\/tfs\/ATG\/CAD\/CAD%20Marketing%20Material\/CAD%20Marketing%20Documents\/Infographics\/Infographic-Zinc.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">zinc<\/a> and lead in few seconds. \u00a0Handheld <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thermoscientific.com\/en\/products\/x-ray-fluorescence-xrf.html\" target=\"_blank\">XRF<\/a>\u00a0technology is a fast and completely non-destructive way to separate these two metals.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><em>Without an analyzer, a simple way to sort zinc and lead is to check their hardness. \u00a0Use a
