She and her colleague Mary Ann Vogelsang review each story &#8211; a herculean task.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left;margin: 10px\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/200th_article_smaller.jpg\" width=\"352\" height=\"264\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: start\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif';color: black\">While 200 is a big number, it is obvious, that even if we had written 1,000 stories on proteomics, we would only be scratching the surface of this huge topic. The science of protein interactions, expression and regulation is undoubtedly advancing our ability to provide personalized medicine. The enormous complexity and variations inherent in molecular biology make writing for this blog both a challenge and a privilege. On the one hand, our writers are never bored. That&#8217;s for sure. On the other, the breadth and scope of this project can be overwhelming. For example, on any given day a writer might be working on a story about <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/proteomics\/gene-targeting-and-functional-proteomics-a-new-strategy\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gene Targeting and Functional Proteomics<\/a><\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif'\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif';color: black\">and another on<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif'\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif';color: black\"><a href=\"http:\/\/admin.acceleratingscience.com\/proteomics\/biomarkers-of-cardiovascular-disease-prevention-before-cure\/\" target=\"_blank\">Biomarkers in Cardiovascular Disease<\/a>.
