Workshops at our Customer Evaluation Centre (CEC)

We host a variety of application-based workshops at our CEC in Cramlington, UK, which is just a short drive from Newcastle International Airport.

A range of both upstream and downstream bioprocessing topics will be covered and each event has a specific technology or application focus.
Examples of some focus areas include:

  • Scale-up of cell culture from bench to production
  • Large scale single-use microbial fermentation
  • Mixing technologies that fit your process
  • Regulatory challenges for bioprocessing applications

Learn more about CEC centre

For each workshop, we aim to have a mix of both internal Thermo Fisher presenters as well as experts from leading biopharmaceutical companies.

Workshops are free of charge to attend and usually take place over a single day. Attendee numbers are limited to ensure a personal interaction with our experts and opportunity for hands-on experience with our technologies.

In addition to our workshops and technical discussions, attendees have the opportunity to tour our single-use consumables manufacturing facility onsite.
