With Thermo Fisher Cloud–enabled instruments, including Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 3 and 5 real-time PCR instruments, ProFlex and SimpliAmp end-point PCR devices, Thermo Scientific E1-ClipTip equalizer pipettes, and NanoDrop One Microvolume UV-Vis spectrophotometers, you can remotely set up your plate and experiment protocols and download the methods directly from your secure cloud account to start your run.

As they’re generated, raw data sets are automatically uploaded to your cloud folder for easy retrieval and instrument monitoring of in-run quality control feedback. And every file is traceable, giving you greater control of your data.

Don’t have a cloud-enabled instrument? Not a problem. You can easily transport existing raw data files from your local desktop computer to your cloud account by:

1. simply dragging and dropping files from your computer to your dashboard, or
2. using our Cloud Connect Utility (CCU) app.

After installing the CCU app, simply designate a folder on your computer where your data resides, then sync it to your secure Thermo Fisher Cloud account. Any files placed in that folder will automatically upload to the cloud. (Currently available for Windows™ operating system only.)

Thermo Fisher Cloud allows you to share any type of files—experiments, protocols, data sets, project folders, and more—with other Thermo Fisher Connect users on campus and around the world. It’s easy, convenient, and protected by the highest levels of privacy standards.

Group permissions and custom sharing options help you share your work with select group members and create project teams.

Simply select a file or set of data files or create a custom group to be shared with a colleague, and the recipient will receive an email with a link to access the file or join the group. You can also un-share files or change group members and permissions at any time, and track which files have been shared and with whom.
