Fonctionnement de la technologie KingFisher

Le système de purification Thermo Scientific™ KingFisher™ utilise des tiges magnétiques permanentes et des peignes jetables. Lorsque la tige magnétique (logée dans le peigne) est abaissée dans la solution, les microbilles magnétiques sont collectées à la base du peigne. Le peigne peut ensuite être positionné dans un autre rang ou une autre plaque, et les microbilles sont relâchées lors du retrait des tiges magnétiques du peigne. Le peigne facilite également le mélange des réactifs et des microbilles en effectuant des mouvements verticaux.
