The following tutorial demonstrates how easy it is to use the BLOCK-iT™ RNAi Designer to design and order custom sequences to your targets for both synthetic RNAi and vector-based RNAi products.

Ordering using BLOCK-iT™ RNAi Designer

1. On the
BLOCK-iT™ siRNAs page click the link for standard or plated siRNAs.

Note: For online ordering, be sure you have your customer login. If not, please register.

  

     

2. On the BLOCK-iT™ RNAi Designer page, select your Target Design Option (product type).

3. Input target sequence information: accession number or nucleotide sequence.

4. Select design options: Start with default. Increase G/C range if necessary. Finally, include UTRs as a last option.

5. Click "RNAi Design" button.

  

     

6. Select designs using check boxes.

Recommendation: Select top 2 or 3 star rankings to take advantage of guarantees for Stealth™ RNAi, siRNA, and miR RNAi vectors.

Note: Star rankings are relative—all designs displayed are likely to be effective.

7. Click "Continue" button.

  

     

8. Check boxes to order scrambled negative controls, if desired.

9. Choose "Order Online" or "Email/Save Order".

The "Order Online" option requires customers to login (or register) to complete their order. 

The "Email/Save Order" option allows customers to export the designed siRNAs to a spreadsheet, which can be sent to genomicorders@thermofisher.com or
faxed to (800) 331-2286 (in North America).
