Anja Scholz joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager for the Digital Science division in February 2020. Her role is focused on providing scientific organizations with laboratory information management solutions (LIMS) in the context of a Digital Laboratory. After 7 years in Fraunhofer, Anja started her sales career in different IT organizations such as Oracle and – for 11 years – IBM where she was deeply involved in IT capability areas such as: Cloud, Mobile, Collaboration, Analytics, BigData, Artificial Intelligence, Robots and Virtual Reality. She is an economist, highly interested in technology trends and market developments pushed by innovation, such as “Digitization” or “Internet of Things”. In her current role, she finds all these aspects embedded in the Thermo Fisher portfolio and within the ideas of our customers.
